Faro del Albir

El Faro del Albir is in the natural park of La Serra Gelada (The Frozen Mountain), with some 5,000 hect. of marine environment. The Natural Park protects the entire mountain and its Little island: the Illot de la Mitjana. The Serra Gelada is formed by a relief that rises abruptly on the flat areas of Benidorm, Alfaz del Pi and Altea, and gives rise, on its coastal front, to cliffs of more than 300 meters. It is truly a luxury to get to a place like this after sailing across Villajoyosa and Benidorm. And we are, when reaching the lighthouse, minutes from Altea.

The jewel of this route for any lover of navigation is, in any case, to get to access from the sea to the natural park and enjoy a unique natural environment, with many coves and bays, where the mountains and the sea meet majestically. The crystalline waters and the bucolic landscapes invite to the bath and the discovery. For diving enthusiasts it is also a unique and wonderful place, with exceptional Mediterranean beauty.

In the Faro we must anchor in a buoy. In case you want to spend the night in the area, you can do it at the Altea Nautical Club and take the opportunity to visit this town that captivates every visitor.
